Events and graduation

University life is busy – there are always events and celebrations going on – either on or off campus. Keep your eyes on what’s happening here.

Graduation dancer Graduation

Graduation is a very special time in your life, where you get to celebrate your dedication, achievement and success in education.

You’ll receive an invitation to graduate through the Student Portal – all the information is on the Graduation web pages.

As a Pasifika student, you can also attend a Pasifika celebration, which are held in addition to the formal graduation ceremony.

Pasifika Celebrations

We understand the hard work, sweat and sacrifice that have gone into your studies, and the Pasifika celebrations are an opportunity to take a moment and enjoy your success with your peers and your supporters – your friends, and family.

To register your interest to attend the Pasifika celebration at your graduation, email Selu Paea at

Then set the date aside in your calendar, and remember to take the time to celebrate your success.
